ERRATA

A god-story in fragments

Before the first light, there was the Text. Every star a syllable. Every fate, however small, written once and written true — because the Choir of gods wrote it, and what the Choir writes, is.

Then, one night, they found a line they didn't write.

Errata is a click-through visual novel about six gods and the mistake that shouldn't exist — a wound in reality with no author, no reason, and, as it turns out, its own opinions about being erased.

What you do

Nothing here is combat. It's a conversation the universe was never built to have — and you decide how the Choir has it.

  • Read the wound aloud, and risk letting it spread — or wall it up and hope silence is enough.
  • Watch how your choices push the Choir toward order, understanding, or chaos, tracked quietly under the surface rather than shown as a meter.
  • Reach one of 5 different endings — burn the error out, seal it away forever, rewrite the cosmos to include it, sacrifice everything to close it personally, or lose control of it entirely if you wait too long.
  • Continue past the credits into a full second act — an epilogue set years after the vote, showing what your choice actually cost.

No two playthroughs land the same way. The game remembers what you did three choices ago.

The cast

  • Orun — the Eldest, keeper of Order
  • Sarei — goddess of rivers, too curious for her own good
  • Vesk — god of war, who brought a blade to a conversation
  • Calyx — the Archivist, who's copying everything down just in case
  • Mira — dreamer of the Choir, who saw this coming
  • Thresh — builder of the seal, and everything that comes after it
  • ??? — the wound itself. It has opinions.
